Photography as a medium is meant to represent only one perspective. In my work I use this limitation for my benefit.
"About skirts" explores the limits of the female body. By not showing certain parts of the body, I generate in the image empty fields that disturb while allowing the viewer to fill them with the help of their imagination. The body becomes something inanimate - an object; therefore, something that can be possessed, something devoid of thought, something that is reduced to form and function.
This series stimulates reflection on the role of women in our society, but also questions the truthfulness of the images.
